Its 125kHz RFID antenna, typically mounted at the start, reliably detects FDS RFID badges or wristbands worn by competitors, enhancing accuracy and reducing manual errors.

The RCID offers flexible connectivity options, linking effortlessly to WIRC, WINP, or WISG units at the start gate, or directly to a TBox via its RS232 input. Once an ID is detected, the device transmits the competitor's identification (before the start) to your connected FDS timing applications via TBox-Radio. This automatically associates the competitor with all subsequent timestamps received on the corresponding TBox input. For users integrating third-party timing software, the RCID ensures that generated timestamps are directly identified within the TBox with the correct competitor ID, simplifying data correlation and post-event analysis.
